The Egyptian Family Medicine Journal (EFMJ) is the official journal of the Egyptian Family Medicine Association. The Egyptian Family Medicine Association (EFMA) was founded by eager and enthusiastic members in 2006. It is an active member of the World Organization of National Colleges, Academies, and Academic Associations of General Practitioners/Family Physicians (WONCA).

The EFMJ is in both electronic format and paper version. The published articles can be made available in a very short time. We are committed to maintaining high-quality scientific articles through a serious, accurate, but fast peer-review process. It is a recognized journal with a long-standing commitment to the promotion of Family Medicine-Assistant Professors/Professors.
